My name is Gerry McInerney. I’m a Chartered Accountant and an accredited business facilitator with over 40 years’ corporate experience in leading accountancy firm, McInerney Saunders (now Dains Ireland), a firm I started in 1980.
The firm supported SMEs and a range of not-for-profit entities with their compliance and advisory needs. I mainly focussed on delivering advisory services and supporting business owners in overcoming challenges in their businesses.
Challenges are a part of life and no business is immune to them - whether in good times or in poor times – there will always be challenges.
In the same way we are challenged in our sporting ambitions. I have a keen interest in playing competitive golf. I see many similar challenges in improving one';s golf game or other sporting skills and improving one's business. The concepts involved are broadly the same.

In addition to supporting business owners on a one to one basis I also support these businesses when acting as a non-executive director (NED) and as a board adviser to company boards, working closely with executive directors to support them in addressing a range of issues that confront businesses of every type through the business life-cycle.
